10-15-08 New G-Craft parts for CT70/DAX/Chaly
This week G-Craft released pictures and info on some of its new line up including some pretty neat stuff for the CT70, DAX, and Chaly. One of the items I feel quite a few guys will be happy to see is a proper set of rear sets. The new G-Craft rearsets are sloted to use the NSR type Nissan master cylinder and require you to replace your standard footpeg/kickstand bracket with a kickstand bracket that does not have provisons for foot pegs. Also you will either have to replace the standard stator cover with one that does not interfere with the rearsets or trim yours in such a way that it will not be in the way. Out side of those minor issues its relitivly a easy fit, compare this to fabbing up your own out of some other app. Ive seen some seriously hacked up setups over the years so its nice to see that someone came out with a decent set that are designed specificly for this bike.
Another cool piece that G-Craft just released is their new oil catch tank. Extremely functional and stylish it allows you to keep the side grab handle and also mimics the standard side badge of the bike.
These next two items allow you to add a Brembo crab caliper and you can either keep it at the normal length and just replace the one fork leg or you can order a left and right set that are 40mm shorter, thus lowering the front end slighly. the kits include the fork leg or legs, spacers, bolts and a disk rotor spacer. You will also need to order a caliper, brake master, rotor, brake line, disk hub and wheel center to complete the full front disk setup.
